Aging it may be, but the Nissan Pathfinder still seems capable of seducing critics, particularly those appraising a vehicle’s family-friendly features. Here, the safety systems are impressive, as is that horn blast heard after every drive in which one of the rear doors has been opened before setting off or at any point during the drive. This device reminds the driver that he or she may have a child - or even a pet - strapped in the rear.

Mazda is not one of those mega-sized brands with seemingly limitless financial resources. On the other hand, the designs of its most recent creations seem to appeal to the general public. In fact, despite its introduction in 2017, Mazda's biggest SUV hasn't aged a day. The driving pleasure offered by the CX-9 shouldn't be underestimated as a selling point either.
