SKYACTIV encompasses all the technical innovations to be applied to Mazda vehicles in order to improve its corporate average fuel economy by 30 percent within the next four years.

The updated Mazda3 will also get fresh bumpers as well as redesigned headlights and grilles. New 16- and 17-inch wheels will round out the changes.

What's more, the company revealed that SKYACTIV engines and transmissions will successively find their way into many other products throughout 2011.

Visitors at the CIAS (February 18-27) in Toronto will get to see the rest of the Mazda lineup, including the Mazda2, Mazda5, Mazda6, MX-5, RX-8, Tribute, CX-7 and CX-9.
