On Thursday, February 13th, the Canadian Automobile Association (CAA) announced that Toyota owners have given their vehicles top marks in the annual CAA Vehicle Ownership Satisfaction survey. The 1997 - 2001 model years of the Toyota Camry won the 2003 Pyramid Award for Overall Vehicle Ownership Satisfaction, and the 1998 - 2001 model years of the Toyota Sienna received the Pyramid Award for Vehicle Ownership Satisfaction in the Light Truck category.

For an unprecedented eight consecutive years, Toyota's Camry was the recipient of the prestigious Pyramid award. Following closely behind in amount of awards received is the Corolla which has 6 of such prizes to its name, its first coming in 1983. In addition, the Sienna minivan holds another Pyramid under its belt giving it a total of 2 awards. Both the Celica and Tercel also have an award each.
It is no surprise that 7 out of the 10 top places were acquired by Toyota. The Echo, along with the Corolla, took the third and fourth spots while the 1992-1996 model years of the Camry sustained a strong sixth place. Ninth and tenth place was awarded to the 1996-1999 and 1991-1995 model years of the Tercel.
