Toyota to debut 2013 Venza in New York

Toyota says its 2013 Venza crossover will make its North American debut at the New York auto show next month.

The new model gets exterior styling updates, new standard convenience features and updates options packages. Styling tweaks include a modified upper and lower grille, fog lights and tail lights, as well as a new 19-inch wheel design and two new exterior colours: Attitude Black and Cosmic Gray Mica. I can’t quite bring myself to get excited about two new shades of, essentially, black, but you never know.

Newly standard features include a 6.1” display audio with AM/FM and XM satellite radio, AUX, MP3 and voice recognition. Touring and touring + JBL Packages for the Venza AWD and V6 AWD get HID with LED daytime running lights, driver memory seats, memory and reverse-tilt exterior mirrors and 6.1” display audio with navigation.

It will continue to offer fold-flat rear seats, spacious cargo, elevated driver sightline, up to 3,500 lbs. (1,587 kg) towing capacity and available AWD.
