The agreement has been taken between WTCC and USTCC organizers, during the discussions leading to the organization of a WTCC event in United States, alongside a round of the USTCC.
It is no secret that the World Touring Car Championship intends to be present in the USA, and it looks like it would be possible in 2012.
The test will take place in Europe at the end of the season with one of Proteam’s BMWs.
