Hyundai’s panoramic sunroofs
Panoramic sunroofs have been drawing attention lately, and not necessarily of the right reasons. Reports have surfaces of these roofs exploding into pieces for no apparent reason. Those reports are gradually becoming more frequent, and they’re not limited to just one manufacturer.
That said, the company taking the most heat for this problem in early in 2019 is Hyundai. Already a class action suit has been filed in Alberta arising from incidents involving Hyundai models equipped with the big roofs. It may be wiser, for the moment anyways, to opt for a regular power sunroof instead.
