When Alfa Romeo celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2010, famous Italian design studio and longtime partner Zagato launched the TZ3 program to mark their rich history together. Two gorgeous automobiles would be created, namely the Corsa and Stradale.
The only TZ3 Corsa ever made highlights the racing heritage of Scuderia Ferrari, Alfa Corse, Autodelta and Scuderia Zagato. Built on a carbon fibre chassis with aluminum body, the car is powered by a 4.2-litre V8 engine mated to a 6-speed sequential gearbox.
Last week, the second phase of the TZ3 program kicked off when Zagato delivered the first of nine Stradale models. Motivated by a Dodge Viper ACR-sourced V10 that produces 600 horsepower and 560 lb-ft of torque, the carbon fibre shell represents the first-ever American Alfa, the company said.
