The sheer existence of the Nassau makes plenty of sense. Chrysler has not had as much success in decades (other than the minivan) as it has with the bold 300. It therefore is only logical that the Nassau see the light of day.
The Magnum may be the wagon version of the 300 however it lacks the panache usually associated with the Chrysler brand. The Nassau Concept is a four-door, four-passenger luxury vehicle that also sports a rear hatch.
From a German-American point of view, the Nassau is an Americanised Mercedes-Benz CLS. It is based on a 300 SRT8 from which it retains the 425-hp, 6.1-liter HEMI V8. All that power and torque are enough to launch the car to 60 mph in only 5 seconds.
According to Alan Barrington, principal exterior designer of the concept, the Nassau is "a more emotional and artistic articulation of what it means to be a Chrysler."
With short overhangs and 21-inch wheels, the Nassau looks smaller than it really is. In fact, it's built on a 3,048-mm (120-inch) wheelbase and weighs 2,041 kg (4,500 lbs). The interior features four bucket seats. They are divided by a full-length console covered in satin silver trim.
