The officials of the
new Circuit of the Americas have posted a latest set of photos of the web site to illustrate that construction of the 3.4-mile road course near Austin, Texas is progressing well.

Circuit Of The Americas is a multipurpose motorsport facility that will host the most prestigious racing events in the world, including the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix. It is the first purpose-built Grand Prix facility in the U.S.

The web site says that construction is progressing quickly, in particular, vertical construction on the main grandstand, as well as paving of the parking lot, has begun.

Work on the pit building has continued to progress significantly, as well. Framing and staircases have gone in, allowing the facility to take shape. More than 500 workers are currently on site, and the construction schedule remains dynamic to allow for work throughout the week.
