The all-new 2018 Genesis G80 Sport debuted at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit this week, starring alongside the 2017 Genesis G90 flagship sedan, which just lost the North American Car of the Year award to the Chevy Bolt EV.

Distinctive copper styling elements, unique 19” wheels, genuine carbon fibre interior trim, and leather sport seats and steering wheel are just some of the exclusive design and performance features that highlight the G80 Sport.

Under the hood, you’ll find a brand new 3.3L twin-turbocharged V6 rated at 365 horsepower. A sport-tuned 8-speed automatic transmission is part of the mix, and the option of either RWD or AWD is available to manage varying weather and road conditions.

The Korean contingent at this year’s NAIAS also includes the full Hyundai IONIQ lineup, which consists of the IONIQ Electric, IONIQ Hybrid, and IONIQ Plug-in Hybrid—the first and only car in the industry to offer a choice of three electrified powertrain options within a single platform.
