Volvo introduced two brand new vehicles at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show last week. First there was the North American debut of the 2016 XC90 crossover, then the global unveiling of the 2015.5 V60 Cross Country.
The 7-passenger 2016 Volvo XC90 is boldly styled and equipped with state-of-the-art safety technologies while burning less fuel than its predecessor.
The interior is also the most luxurious Volvo has ever built. It features a tablet-like centre display with access to all sorts of functions and services via the Internet, supple leather upholstery, an Orrefors crystal shifter, and a sound system co-developed by Volvo and Bowers & Wilkins.
The 2016 Volvo XC90's wheel designs range up to 22'' in size, while the LED daytime running lights are shaped like Thor's hammer. The lines are sharper and the hood is wider.
Meanwhile, the new 2015.5 Volvo V60 Cross Country houses a 250-horsepower, inline 5-cylinder engine, offers increased off-road capability, and comes with numerous standard features including:
- Navigation;
- Leather seating surfaces;
- Power sunroof;
- Sensus connectivity system.
Look for it to arrive in showrooms in early 2015.
