The wait is finally over. The all-new Karma Revero luxury sedan made its anticipated debut on September 8th, so we can now share pictures and details with you.
Similar in design to the late Fisker Karma, this sporty-looking plug-in hybrid model features numerous enhancements including a more advanced solar roof panel and a more comprehensive infotainment system.
The Revero offers an EV range of up to 80 kilometres, but the gasoline engine allows drivers to cover a total distance of about 480 kilometres. The latter is a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder that produces 262 horsepower. Combined with the two rear-mounted electric motors, total output amounts to 409 horsepower, enabling 0-60 mph (96 km/h) acceleration in just 5.4 seconds. Fast-charging brings the high-voltage battery to 80% in a remarkable 24 minutes.
Pricing for the Karma Revero has been set at $130,000 USD, and you can order one right now. Better hurry, though, because only a limited number of cars will be built.
The first units will enter production by the end of this year, and deliveries will begin sometime in 2017.
