Nissan is looking to get a piece of the roadster pie. They are planning on launching a 2-seater convertible by 2008 and it should look something like the URGE concept presented at the NAIAS.
The URGE has a RWD platform and features a small displacement high-revving engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. With a body made out of aluminium, the key element seems to be a very advantageous power-to-weight ratio.
The cockpit is wraparound-style and even features an Xbox 360 gaming system. The URGE was designed by Nissan Design America of La Jolla, California.
