It was with slightly heavy hearts that we departed last week from the latest edition of the New York International Auto Show. This year, the event was marked by many significant unveilings for the press, with a series of interesting North American debuts and a few spectacular world premieres succeeding one another - not to mention the announcement of the 2017 World Cars of the Year.
Added to all this were presentations of new trends in design, lifestyle and environmental initiatives. New York is in fact the largest automotive market in North America when it comes to luxury vehicles and sports cars, and this was evident in the energy and resources deployed by the manufacturers during press days at the event.
