Norwegian Petter Solberg will still test a Peugeot 307 WRC as the former World Rally Champion considers a switch from a Citroen Xsara to a 307.
Solberg was in good form in his Citroen Xsara WRC during the recent Acropolis Rally in Greece.
Solberg was even fighting for the lead when the front-left suspension on his Xsara collapsed. He indicated that the failure was probably caused by the use of aluminium rather than titanium top mounts. A switch to a 307 WRC for Finland remains an option.
Solberg knows the Rally Finland is all about the flexibility and power from the engine, and the 307's motor has always been famously strong in those areas.
