But that was without counting on his encounter with the Ronforts and their Porsche 996 GT3 RS, with its 380-horsepower engine... the only car capable of giving him the desire to get back into racing! Issued from a series limited to 200, the Porsche 996 GT3 RS driven by François Delecour in the 2007 Rally Championship of France will be specifically optimized by the RS Autosport workshops of Jean-Pierre Ronfort, independent Porsche specialist. Ronfort will count on his experience as a driver and on his long-standing Porsche technical know-how in order to provide a top car to Delecour, whose co-driver will be none other than Mélanie Ronfort. They will run in the Group GT series, GT10 cylinder class. François Delecour will be sponsored by a natural, non-alcholic beverage supplier. To Delecour, it will be more than a sponsorship, as his motto is "Drinking and driving, never for me!"
