GT: Sebastien Loeb Racing to be launched in 2012Sebastien Loeb is about to launch his own racing team, the Sebastien Loeb Racing, which will compete in GT series starting from 2012.
Loeb is already confirmed at the Citroen Racing Team World Rally Team for 2012, and has an option for 2013. The Frenchman is already preparing his post-WRC career. His team will make its debut in 2012, and will run one or two cars in GT series (French or international championship). Sebastien Loeb could be at the wheel of one of the car for some races if they don't clash with rally events, and may have a full time program in 2014, or in 2013 if he decided to leave the rally before. Loeb also aims to run young drivers in the future, alongside himself. The team will be based near Strasbourg, Loeb’s native country, and will be headed by Dominique Heintz, a close friend who helped him to start in rallying back in 1997. The details of Loeb’s racing team will be unveiled at a press conference at Paul Ricard HTTT circuit, where Loeb will run the two last rounds of the French GT championship in a Ferrari F458. |
