More refined and powerful than the 360 Modena that it replaces, the F430 is the new « base model » in the Ferrari line-up. Its lines are undeniably racier and obviously inspired by Ferrari's excellent F1 cars. The underside of the car is completely flat to help improve airflow and aerodynamics. Thanks to its all-new, sweet sounding, 483 hp 4.3L V8, the F430 can zip from 0 to 100 km/h in only 4 seconds on the way to a top speed of 315 km/h. Two 6-speed transmissions are available. The first is a regular manual shift and the other is a sequential shift controlled by paddles. The F430 Spyder will be officially be revealed at the 2005 Geneva Auto Show.

With a lineage that includes such fantastic Ferraris as the 360 Modena, F355, 348, 328 and so on, the F430 continues the tradition in the form of exotic perfectionism. How can the Italian maker go wrong? Styling cues from the Enzo, F360 and 250LM make for a gorgeous piece of automotive art.
