We’ve seen the Qashqai Concept way back in 2004, but here’s concrete evidence of the project evolving.
Originally designed at Nissan’s design studios in London, this smaller-than-Murano crossover is expected to make its production debut at the 2007 Geneva Motor Show next spring. But we caught it here, in Germany, undergoing shakedown tests.
We’re expecting the Qashqai to be equipped with a 2.0-liter, four cylinder engine, with possible 3.5-liter V6 and diesel options available. All-wheel-drive versions will be the most successful, but a base model with front-wheel-drive will also be offered.
