Markham, Ontario - In response to the recent federal government announcement reducing the GST from seven to six per cent, Hyundai Auto Canada is offering buyers the reduced rate now, without waiting until July.
As of Saturday, May 6th, Hyundai dealers nationwide will offer new vehicle buyers the cash equivalent of the one per cent tax reduction upon closing. New vehicle buyers are obliged to pay the full amount of the tax at time of purchase, so Hyundai dealers will reimburse the one per cent in cash or equivalent discount.
