Leasebusters partners up with GMAC

by Joe Duarte posted October 20, 2006

Lease Busters Inc. (Leasebusters), the Mississauga company that specializes in bringing together consumers who want to get out of their lease contracts with those looking to take over someone's lease, has formed a national strategic alliance with GMAC, one of Canada's largest vehicle lease financing companies.

The move will present GMAC customers who want to get out of their lease contract early with a lease-takeover process that is simple and straightforward. By visiting the vehicle's original selling dealer and posting the vehicle on the Leasebusters website, the customer combines national exposure for the vehicle with the ease of the dealer assisted listing process and the advantage of special dealer pricing.

In addition, consumers from across the country searching for leases to take over benefit from a greater volume of vehicles from which to choose.

"We know dealers are helping some of those customers get out of their vehicles," explains Todd McNabb, GMAC of Canada's national sales manager. "By partnering with Leasebusters, we can make this process easier for everyone involved."

"What our alliance with GMAC means for GMAC customers and prospective GMAC customers is the peace-of-mind that most leasing customers want to have when entering into a lease agreement," explains Jim Matthews, General Manager and owner of Leasebusters. "To actually deal with a company that acknowledges and endorses lease-take-overs as a means of customer retention and customer relationship is invaluable to all leasing customers."
