Volkswagen officials gave Autoblog some insight into their new model roll-out plans when we met with them earlier this week at the media drive for the new 2009 Volkswagen Jetta TDI (http://www.autoblog.com/2008/06/18/volkswagen-prices-jetta-tdi-from-21-990/). First into showrooms will be the 3.0-liter Touareg TDI, scheduled to start production in Mid-February 2009. It will followed by the MK VI GTI, based on the new Golf making its debut at the Paris Motor Show (http://www.autoblog.com/category/paris-motor-show/) next month. The 2.5-liter Rabbit (gas) and 2.0-liter Rabbit TDI (diesel) will follow in the fall. Absent from VW's diesel lineup is the Tiguan. Larger and heavier than the compact cars currently utilizing the 2.0-liter TDI, the engine would need an urea injection to meet emission standards -- and the crossover wasn't designed with a storage tank in mind. Sorry diesel fans, the Tiguan will be sitting this one out for a while.

Pourtant le timing aurait été bon pour être différent et promouvoir le Tdi dans le Tiguan, Touareg et le Routan... en autant qu'ils ne chargent pas 2000$ pour .... vers '81-84, VW offrait ses moteurs diesels sans supplément, sinon pour presque rien.

Il me semble avoir déjà lu que ça serait pas avant l'été 2010 qu'on aurait le Tiguan TDi.

VW peine a founir pour le tiguan......le constrcuteur souhaite doubler la production quotidienne du SUV....100 000 tiguan en B/O ..Disons que d'avant de penser a importer le tiguan TDI ...VW va penser a suffire a la demande....10 mois de livraison ish......:?:?:cry:

méchant probleme chronique chez VW.
quand ils ont un modèle en demande, ils ne fournisse jamais la demande, et le linup s'allonge et s'allonge. et ça veut de venir num. mondial s'te cie la !!! :rolleyes:

Au moin le produit est en demande :bref y pogne;)......reste maintenant a auguementer la cadence..........
