Ouff :!: Très agressif comme prix, pas mal moins cher que la 500 et 300, Charger. Mais en 2006, GM a dit qu'il baisserait les prix et serait moins négociable.

Oshawa, Ontario (Thursday, July 14, 2005) - General Motors of Canada today announced pricing for the new 2006 Chevrolet Impala, Chevy’s longtime flagship sedan. The new Impala takes comfort and performance to the next level. The MSRP starts at $24,685 for the base LS, with the LTZ starting at $29,840 and the V8 powered SS performance model starting at $32,855.

GM of Canada's marketing manager for mid-size cars said, “With the 2006 Impala being built in the J.D. Power & Associates award winning plant for initial quality, we are confident that the new Impala will exceed customer expectations in quality, reliability, style and value.”

Standard features include 16” wheels, air conditioning, 8-way power driver’s seat, OnStar, cruise control, six-speaker CD stereo, remote keyless entry, front and rear side head curtain airbags and 4-wheel disc brakes. Available options include remote vehicle start, leather seating, rear seats with flip and fold flat system, sunroof and 18” polished aluminum wheels.

The 2006 Chevrolet Impala is available with three new engines including the new 303 horsepower 5.3L V8 engine featuring Displacement on Demand (DOD) technology, which regulates between eight-cylinder and four-cylinder operation and provides up to 8 percent improved fuel economy in certain light load driving conditions.

The Impala LTZ comes standard with an all-new 3.9L V6 engine producing 240 horsepower and 242 lb.-ft. of torque, while the LT and LS models come equipped with a new 3.5L V6 powerplant producing 211 horsepower and 214 lb.-ft. of torque. These new V6 engines feature variable valve timing (VVT) to optimize engine performance. In addition, the 3.5L V6 engine is available with an E85 ethanol flex fuel option that allows the vehicle to run on any combination of gasoline and/or E85 ethanol.

The new 2006 Chevrolet Impala delivers stylish design and stirring performance while continuing the tradition of quality and reliability in Chevrolet’s flagship sedan.
