GM Canada announces pricing for 2006 Pontiac Solstice

Oshawa, Ontario - The new Pontiac Solstice two-seater roadster will arrive at GM dealerships this summer with a base price of $25,695, excluding taxes and freight, announced General Motors of Canada.

Among the curvaceous car's features are a 2.4-litre Ecotec 4 cylinder engine, 5-speed manual transmission, 18-inch wheels and 4-wheel disc brakes. Also included in the Solstice will be sport bucket seats, 6-speaker CD stereo and high-polished single exhaust.

"This thrilling addition to the Pontiac lineup delivers performance in a fun, agile, affordable roadster," said Donna Martin, marketing manager for Small and Sporty Cars. "With this compact and affordable sports car, the Solstice adds new dimension to Pontiac's portfolio."
