Last month, FCA promised to unveil a new ultimate performance halo car, the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon , during the New York Auto Show week in April.

The added traction and higher profile of the new 315/40R18 Nitto NT05R tires allow the Challenger SRT Demon to handle higher launch torque loads. As such, the car has been upgraded with a higher stall speed torque converter and 3.09 rear axle gears, resulting in more than 35% higher launch force than a Challenger SRT Hellcat!
