Toyota is bringing several changes to the Tundra for the 2027 model year. Its full-size pickup receives a redesigned front fascia, a new Trailhunter package and a revised multimedia system. The modifications also affect the suspension and towing assistance features.
Starting price for the 2027 Toyota Tundra's extensive lineup is set at $61,340 CAD, before fees. At the other end of the ladder, the TRD Pro with Performance Package gets an MSRP of $99,446.

A Trailhunter package for the SR5
The Trailhunter name joins the Tundra lineup as an options package for the SR5 trim. This configuration includes an Old Man Emu suspension, 265/70R18 Michelin LTX Trail tires, front recovery hooks and additional underbody skid plates.
The package also bestows on the truck a locking rear differential, Crawl Control and a Multi-Terrain Select system., as well as bronze-coloured wheels and model-specific badges.
The TRD Pro also receives updates. It gets adjustable FOX dampers tuned specifically for the Tundra and red recovery hooks. Isodynamic seats are available as an option to better stabilize occupants over rough terrain. These upgrades accompany a redesign of the front end, notably the grille and bumper.
More screens and integrated features
Inside, Toyota installs a new steering wheel and offers two key technologies as standard equipment: the 14-inch touchscreen and the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. The multimedia system features a customizable home screen and a shortcut menu.
An integrated drive recorder uses the exterior cameras to capture 20-second clips, which can be viewed on the central screen. The Toyota Safety Sense 4.0 driver-assistance suite also becomes standard equipment.
Enhanced towing assistance
Toyota is upgrading several features designed for drivers who like to tow things. Depending on equipment, blind-spot monitoring can adapt its coverage to the length of the trailer, while lane-keeping assistance accounts for towing.
The backup guidance system gains dynamic gridlines and semi-automated steering assistance. The stated maximum towing capacity reaches 5,080 kg (11,200 lb).
As for the more luxurious trims, a revised adaptive suspension becomes standard on the Capstone. Platinum and 1794 hybrid variants can be optioned with a combination of adaptive and air suspension.
Finally, the 122-litre fuel tank is now standard across the entire lineup. Meanwhile, the optional TRD Pro Performance Package boosts power from 437 to 469 hp.
