9 – Chevrolet Biscayne 1968
Chevrolet’s full-size sedans benefited from vast interiors and huge trunks, making them perfectly suited to taxi service. In fact, just about all four-doors produced by the American manufacturers during the 1960s and 1970s were proper candidates for being used as taxis. Many of them had long careers being driven around North American cities with the TAXI sign stuck to their roofs.
