Here's another model that utterly mystified us. In fact, we had never heard of the Thorne company, which offered commercial vehicles that were mainly used by milk delivery companies, bakeries and so on.

Our research allowed us to find photos of this particular model while it was being restored in 2016.

Built on the chassis of an International truck and also using a powertrain from that brand, the Safarikar was created by Bruce Mohs, who also offered us the Ostentatian concept in 1967.

Three seats at the front, a rifle, doors that open in an unusual way, everything is there to capture people's attention. And it works.
