Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk
The Grand Cherokee is, let’s face it, starting to show its age, but it still makes a good case of itself. Launched in 2011, the mid-size 4X4 comes in several flavours, including the explosive Trackhawk with its 707-hp supercharged V8. But for our purposes, the off-road abilities of the Trailhawk version are more relevant. This Jeep is better equipped to resist big volumes of mud, as it benefits from higher ground clearance, plus the adjustable air suspension, specially reworked for the Trailhawk edition, guarantees a certain level of comfort. The Quadra-Drive 4WD system comes standard with all the available powertrains, as does the limited-slip electronic differential. All of which means that, in spite of where it sits on the brand’s organization chart, the Jeep Grand Cherokee bows before no one!
