2019 BMW i8 Roadster
No matter how tall the trucks are in the aftermarket hall, or how many Nissans got turned into Star Wars/Nissan model hybrids (there were six of these creations on the Nissan stand, by the way, with sound effects to boot; felt like you were walking through Disneyland), there was very little at LAAS ’17 that could match up with the i8 Roadster for sheer drama. It’s technically part of the second-generation i8 lineup that also includes the Coupe, meaning longer EV range than previous while power from the EV motor has risen 12 hp to 143 hp.
