8 — Land Rover Range Rover/Range Rover Sport
The British brand offers not only a 4-cylinder diesel, but also a 3.0L V6 with 254 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque. The big plus for this unit is the 8.3L/100 km highway fuel consumption you get, at least theoretically. Considering the usual appetite of the Range Rover model at the pump, the choice is easy if you want to save money in that department.
That said, the Range Rover being what it is, the 5.0L V8 is hard to pass up. And given the price category it sits in, fuel economy is certainly not what folks looking to buy it have top of their list of concerns.
