At General Motors, the truck product offering is always split into two camps: Chevrolet on one side and GMC on the other. This strategy allows the manufacturer to attract two distinct clienteles, each pretty loyal to their brand.
The American manufacturer’s Heavy Duty range has been around for a long time as well. Like other HD pickup trucks, Chevrolet’s and GMC’s models also come with a gasoline-powered V8, but for heavy-duty work, nothing beats the Duramax V8 turbodiesel, a 6.6L unit that delivers 445 hp and a whopping 910 lb-ft of torque.
