The Cybertruck was, shall we say, a big hit when it was launched in the fall of 2019, if by hit you mean it drew a ton of attention, both good and bad. Much of the tongue-wagging revolved around its styling, which is anything but orthodox.

Now, we'll see what the maverick automaker comes up with as a final product, but the Cybertruck will be a success simply because it's a Tesla model. The craze for the brand is currently an unstoppable force, but the capabilities this truck could have also make it a compelling possibility. Most notably, it should get a range of between 600-700 km and be able to tow up to 14,000 lb.

Production of the model is scheduled to begin in 2021.
