Volkswagen I.D. Crozz II
The diesel-engine scandal has compelled Volkswagen to take a good, hard look at electric energy, especially as applied to utility vehicles. Hence the I.D. Crozz II concept, introduced in 2017 . As befits a utility model, VW’s 4MOTION all-wheel drive system is front and centre, while the 301-hp electric powertrain and its (theoretical) range of 500 km shows that the German auto giant is ready to jump with both feet into this cleaner segment of the industry.
