Ford Explorer
Back to Detroit. Ford is having fun multiplying the versions of the popular Explorer. After the introduction of the Timberline livery, the Explorer can also be ordered in XLT and ST-Line versions. And let's not forget the hybrid option and the hot rod of the family, the Explorer ST with its 400-horsepower twin-turbo V6.
The Explorer should have its own pure electric version in the next year or two.
The two-row seating option: Ford Edge
Unfortunately, the prediction we made when presenting last year's list didn't really materialize. There are a few electrified vehicles in this group, but all indications are that many players will switch to pure electric drive rather than stick with the hybrid option. So we'll have to be a little more patient before we see vehicles that are more fuel-efficient at the pump.
