8th place: 2022 Toyota Corolla L w/ manual transmission $19,450 + $1,690 in fees
A measly $48. That’s all that separates the Nissan Sentra S we just lauded from the Toyota Corolla L, which also comes with a manual transmission, and which we also laud.
As you might expect, the vast majority of Corollas sold in this country are equipped with a CVT, but when it comes out of the factory with three pedals, the Corolla L slips under $20,000, a very small sum for such a reliable and durable car.
