The same scenario occurs with Hyundai as with Nissan. That is, the Elantra sedan, in base trim with manual gearbox, is priced lower than the Venue small SUV (with a manual transmission as well).

To which we say, again: It's amazing that a fully-equipped, quality compact sedan is cheaper to buy than a pimped-out Accent.
