3 — Chevrolet Silverado
And about that Chevrolet Silverado. While the 2019 year didn’t pan out quite the way Chevy had hoped it would, the arrival of the diesel-engine variant for the 1500 series should provide the model with a solid boost. The 3.0L inline-6 delivers downright impressive performance with its 277 hp and 460- lb-ft of torque, and especially its exceptional smoothness.
We’ll be watching to see how the diesel model performs on its first full year on the market, particularly since Ford and Ram have their own diesel-powered 1500 models on the market.
Note that the 8-camera system providing 15 camera angles that was first introduced last year in the HD versions will in 2020 be available in the 1500s.
