A 707-hp V8 engine under the hood of an SUV is a completely ridiculous idea, let’s agree on that. Let’s agree furthermore that it’s just the kind of ridiculous and bold idea that you might expect from the FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) group. And while the vehicle serves no other purpose than to deliver pleasure (its towing capacity isn't superior, for example), it does a marvellous job of doing that, I assure you.

I leave the last word to a (64-year-old) passenger invited on board during my week-long test drive: “I've never been in such a powerful and violent vehicle before”.
