Of the two subcompact crossovers in the Jeep lineup (one small, the other slightly less small), the Compass is definitely the more interesting in terms of styling, but also in terms of its off-road capabilities. In Trailhawk trim, the Compass is definitely a front-runner in this segment.

If only Jeep would approve the plug-in hybrid version distributed in Europe, the offer would be more complete. But hey, with the upcoming arrival of the Dodge Hornet (which will be available with a PHEV powertrain), it makes sense for Jeep to wait.
