9 – Convertible cars: Mazda MX-5 and Ford Mustang
Affordable convertibles are not exactly a dime a dozen on the market, and with the departure of the Volkswagen Beetle after this year, that makes one less to choose from next year. The choice among mass-market vehicles boils down to two, quite different models: the Mazda MX-5 and the Ford Mustang. Both are good buys, first off because they deliver more-than-positive driving experiences, but also because they keep their value very well when comes time to resell. The Ford Mustang, however, loses ground to the Mazda MX-5 when it comes to reliability.
