Cars used for drift racing typically rely on rear-wheel drive. While there have been various conversions from FWD to RWD in the past, Tanner Foust’s Volkswagen Passat for the Formula Drift championship is certainly the most unusual and most intriguing. The stock engine was dropped in favour of a big American V8 to vaporize the rear tires.
