3 - Honda Accord
Sedans seem to be getting better and better precisely at a time when they’re seriously bleeding market share. Coincidence? Who knows, but it makes for a fun debate.
Of course, the folks at Car and Driver are anything but bandwagon-jumpers when it comes to the trusty old Accord – 2021 marks the 35th time it’s made this 10Best list. Back in the day, the model was consistently one of the top-selling vehicle models out there; now, it’s hanging on in a struggling category. But that’s a whole other question than whether it’s a quality product. And evidently, it is.
What C&D liked:
- Reasonably priced (we see a pattern here)
- Generous interior space
- Very refined for a mass-market car
- Handling
- Wide trim range
- Very good fuel economy for a car this size
- Yes, fun to drive
