Best Minivan: Toyota Sienna
History repeats itself here. The Toyota Sienna remains an excellent choice for families interested in a minivan, with the hybrid powertrain just another added attraction for those who want to save at the pump. Yes, the Chrysler Pacifica is available with a plug-in hybrid option, but it requires the driver to recharge the vehicle as often as possible to benefit from truly substantial fuel economy.
Toyota's hands-off solution, in contrast, is hassle-free, with the hybrid engine consuming as little as 6.5L/100 km on the highway (the four-wheel-drive version averages 6.6L/100 km). We also have to mention that the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid is not available with all-wheel drive.
Honorable mention to the Chrysler Grand Caravan, a less-luxurious version of the Pacifica.
