For the past few weeks, photographers devoted to snagging spy shots have managed to snap photos of a current-generation Ford Mustang with both ends disguised. From this, two possibilities come to mind: either Ford is already working on the very first hybrid Mustang in history, or it wants to give pony-car purists one last big blast with a Mach 1 version, a livery that would replace the Bullitt in the Mustang lineup.

This “other” Mustang will be unveiled in 2020, possibly in New York or even Detroit.
