The future BMW M5 Touring
In a somewhat unprecedented move, BMW took to the public to gauge whether or not it should bring the wagon version of the hot M5 sedan to North America. Unsurprisingly, the audience voted a resounding yes, and so it is that the M5 Touring is on its way to our side of the Atlantic for the first time.
Expect about 740 hp from a version of the plug-in hybrid powertrain found in the XM SUV. Watch out, RS6 Avant.
When is the BMW M5 Touring coming?
Production of the M5 Touring wagon is scheduled to start late in 2024, which would likely mean arrivals at dealerships in the spring of 2025.
