From one reborn iconic model to another: we now move on to the Land Rover Defender, which has also quietly stepped onto the Canadian market, though without the fanfare that accompanied the Bronco, or the Gladiator before it.

Unlike the Bronco or the Wrangler, the legendary British 4x4 is unlikely to be a ubiquitous presence on our roads, as its starting price is a bit higher, on top of which a handful of options are on hand to greatly increase the price charged to those intent on acquiring one. Available with a turbocharged 4-cylinder or a turbocharged inline-6, the Defender, like the Bronco, comes in two configurations: the short-wheelbase Defender 90 and the long-wheelbase Defender 110.
