Another first for the automotive industry, in a year (and decade) of firsts: an SUV from British carmaker Aston Martin. The new DBX should help the company scoop up more much-needed profits; it’s a tried and tested formula for prestige automotive brands lately.

Fitted with a 4.0L twin-turbo V8, the Aston Martin DBS delivers an output of 542 hp and 516 lb-ft of maximum torque, accomplished with the help of a 9-speed transmission.
