While this is just a concept for now, it is a very striking one. Sharing many of its design features with the all-new Prius, the bZ Compact presents an athletic form underscored by an upswept beltline on the rear doors.

The model is designed to be a fully battery-electric crossover, but Toyota claims it will also deliver an athletic drive.

Inside, we find seating made from recycled materials.

For now, as mentioned, we’re in the prototype phase of this model. But with the recent reveal of the new Prius as a four-door liftback model, one has to wonder if perhaps the destiny for this vehicle is to sit one day in the Toyota lineup where the Prius V once did.
