The "off-road" waves have also reached the docks of Camp Toyota, which has a TRD Pro badge found on several models in its lineup. That designation gives models the highest level of off-road capability available in a Toyota.
Let’s be clear: It’s possible to have fun away from the paved road with less-expensive versions of both the Tacoma and 4Runner – none of the models in their lineups are exactly wimps. But for tougher conditions, the TRD Pro line offers such things as additional skid plates underneath the vehicle or even exclusive suspension adjustments, not to mention the very successful look of these two mega-size toys.
